Macarons
Ingredients
For about 60 macarons
- 7 eggs
- 250 g (1 C) superfine sugar
- 1 T baking powder
- 1 kg (2.2 lb) almond flour
- 200 g (7 oz) fine semolina
- orange-flower water
- confectioners’ sugar
Directions:
Blend eggs, superfine sugar, baking powder, almond flour, and semolina together in R5 food processor bowl until you have a soft dough.
If too dry, add some orange-flower water.
Preheat oven to 180 °C (360 °F). Flavor as desired.
Pinch off chunks of dough and form into balls.
Flatten the balls and set them on a tray covered with parchment paper.
Bake for 20 to 25 min, until golden, sprinkling on confectioner’s sugar at the end.
